Reconstruction of the
Yarnbury Castle 26-07-2020 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up.

4. Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 3.

5. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 4, pointing up.

6. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 5.

7. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 6, pointing up.

8. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 7.

9. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 8, pointing up.

10. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 9.

11. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 10, pointing up.

12. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 11.

13. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 12, pointing up.

14. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 13.

15. Construct a circle centered at the top of hexagon 7, tangent to circle 14 at the upper side.

16. Copy circle 15 five times, to the other angular points of hexagon 7.

17. Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 14, pointing up.

18. Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 17.

19. Copy circle 18 six times, to the angular points of hexagon 2.

20. Copy circle 15 to the intersection of the righthand side of hexagon 2 and the horizontal centerline.

21. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 20 at the righthand side.

22. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 21 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 10 at the upper side.

23. Copy circle 22 to the center of circle 1.

24. Circles 1, 4, 6, 14, 15, 16, 19, 21, and 23, are used for the final reconstruction.

25. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
