Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | ||||

Construct the inscribed octagon (regular 8-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up. Number the angular points clockwise 1 - 8, starting at the top. | ||||

Draw the diagonal of octagon 2 between angular points nrs. 1 and 4. Repeat this seven times, for angular points nrs. 2-5, 3-6, 4-7, 5-8, 6-1, 7-2, and 8-3. | ||||

Construct the inscribed circle of the octagon enclosed by diagonals 3. | ||||

Construct the inscribed circle of octagon 2. | ||||

Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersections of circles 1 and 5 with the vertical centerline. | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 6. | ||||

Copy circle 6 to its own upper intersection with the vertical centerline. | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 8 at the upper side. | ||||

Copy circle 6 to the upper intersection of circle 8 and the vertical centerline. | ||||
