Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | ||||

Construct the inscribed octagon (regular 8-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up. | ||||

Construct a circle centered at the righthand angular point of octagon 2, passing through the top. | ||||

Copy circle 3 seven times, to the other angular points of octagon 2. | ||||

Construct a circle, passing through the center of circle 1, tangent to circle 3 and the lefthand circle 4, both at the upper near sides. | ||||

Copy circle 5 to the center of circle 1. | ||||

Construct a circle centered at the top of octagon 2, tangent to circle 5 at the upper side. | ||||

Copy circle 7 to the center of circle 1. | ||||
