Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | ||||

Construct the inscribed square of circle 1, pointing up. | ||||

Construct the inscribed square of circle 1, with the sides parallel to the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | ||||

Construct a circle centered at the mid-point of the lower side of square 3, passing through the nearest righthand intersection of squares 2 and 3. | ||||

Copy circle 4 four times, to the center of circle 1, and to the mid-points of the other sides of square 3. | ||||

Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down. | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, tangent to the lefthand and righthand sides of triangle 6. | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, passing through the righthand intersection of the lower side of square 3 and triangle 6. | ||||

Copy circles 7 and 8 four times, to the centers of circles 5. | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the righthand intersection of triangle 6 and the horizontal centerline. | ||||

Construct the "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the lower intersections of circles 7 and 8 with the vertical centerline. | ||||
