Draw an eight by eight grid of connected squares with sides horizontal and vertical. | ||||

Draw both diagonals of the lower lefthand square. | ||||

Construct the inscribed circle of the lower lefthand square. | ||||

Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 3, pointing to the left. | ||||

Construct a circle, tangent to circle 3 at the righthand side, and tangent to both lefthand sides of triangle 4. (This is the half of a Vesica Pisces pattern, dividing the horizontal centerline of circle 3 into three equal parts). | ||||

Construct a circle concentric to circle 3, tangent to circle 5 at the lefthand side. | ||||

Copy circle 5 to the center of circle 3. | ||||

Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 6, pointing in the upper righthand direction. | ||||

Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 8. | ||||

Copy circles 6, 7 and 9 sixty-three times, to the centers of all other squares of grid 1. | ||||

Construct four parallel, horizontal lines, tangent to circles 6 and 7 at both sides, and extending to the right upto lower righthand circles 10. | ||||

Copy lines 11 as a whole seven times, to the corresponding circles 10 in the other seven rows of grid 1. | ||||

Construct four parallel, vertical lines, tangent to circles 6 and 7 at both sides, and extending up to upper lefthand circles 10. | ||||

Copy lines 13 as a whole seven times, to the corresponding circles 10 in the other seven columns of grid 1. | ||||

Copy circle 7 four times, to the four angular points of grid 1. | ||||
