Reconstruction of the
West Kennett Longbarrow 19-04-2009 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Copy circle 1 to its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline.

3. Copy circle 1 to its upper intersection with the vertical centerline.

4. Copy circle 1 to its lefthand intersection with the horizontal centerline.

5. Copy circle 1 to its lower intersection with the vertical centerline.

6. Construct a circle centered at the upper righthand intersection of circles 2 and 3, tangent to circle 2 at the lower side.

7. Copy circle 6 to the upper lefthand intersection of circles 3 and 4.

8. Copy circle 6 to the lower lefthand intersection of circles 4 and 5.

9. Copy circle 6 to the lower righthand intersection of circles 5 and 2.

10. Copy circle 6 to the upper intersection of circles 1 and 2.

11. Copy circle 6 to the lower intersection of circles 1 and 2.

12. Copy circle 6 to the upper intersection of circles 1 and 4.

13. Copy circle 6 to the lower intersection of circles 1 and 4.

14. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circles 12 and 13, passing through the upper intersection of circles 12 and 2.

15. Copy circle 14 to the center of circle 1.

16. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 15 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to circle 1 at the righthand side.

17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 16 at the lefthand side.

18. Copy circle 16 to its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline.

19. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 18 at the righthand side.

20. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the upper intersection of circles 10 and 12.

21. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 10 at the upper righthand side.

22. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the end-points of a centerline), between the upper intersections of circles 3 and 17 with the vertical centerline.

23. Copy circle 22 two times, to the lower intersections of circle 19 with circles 10 and 12.

24. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 2 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to circle 14 at the righthand side.

25. Copy circle 24 to its lefthand intersection with the horizontal centerline, and move it (copy and delete original) to its own corresponding intersection.

26. Copy circle 16 to the center of circle 24.

27. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circles 6 and 9, tangent to circle 20 at the righthand side.

28. Copy circle 27 to the righthand intersection of circles 10 and 11.

29. Copy circles 25, 26 and 28 as a whole, while mirroring with respect to the vertical centerline.

30. Copy circle 16 to the lower intersection of circle 5 and the vertical centerline.

31. Copy circle 16 to the upper intersection of circle 30 and the vertical centerline.

32. Copy circle 27 to the lower intersection of circle 30 and the vertical centerline.

33. Copy circle 16 to the upper intersection of circle 3 and the vertical centerline, and move it to its own corresponding intersection.

34. Copy circle 16 to the upper intersection of circle 33 and the vertical centerline.

35. Copy circle 16 to the upper intersection of circle 34 and the vertical centerline.

36. Copy circle 27 to the upper intersection of circle 35 and the vertical centerline.

37. Construct a "two-points" circle, between the center of circle 27 and its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline.

38. Construct a "two-points" circle, between the center of circle 37 and its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline.

39. Construct the horizontal centerline of circle 22.

40. Construct two "two-points" circles, between the center of circle 22 and both end-points of line 39.

41. Copy circle 38 twelve times, to the centers of circles 25, 26, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34, 36 and 40.

42. Construct the inscribed regular 44-sided polygon of circle 20, pointing to the right.

43. Draw 44 rays, from the center of circle 1 to the angular points of polygon 42.

44. Circles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34, 36 and 41, and lines 43 are used for the final reconstruction.

45. Remove all redundant parts, not visible in the formation itself.
