| Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | |||

| Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up. | |||

| Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down. | |||
| 4. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the mutual intersections of triangles 2 and 3. | |||
| 5. |
| Copy circle 4 three times, to the angular points of triangle 2. | |||
| 6. |
| Copy circle 1 three times, to the angular points of triangle 2. | |||
| 7. |
| Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 4, pointing to the left. | |||
| 8. |
| Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 7. | |||
| 9. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circles 5 at the inner sides. | |||
| 10. |
| Copy circle 9 to the righthand intersection of circle 8 and the horizontal centerline. | |||
| 11. |
| Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 8, passing through the upper intersection of circle 10, both with the vertical centerline. | |||

| Construct a circle concentric to circle 8, tangent to circle 11 at the upper side. | |||

| Construct a circle concentric to circle 8, tangent to circle 11 at the lower side. | |||
