Reconstruction of the
Honey Street (phase 2) 27-06-2009 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the circumscribed pentagon (regular 5-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing down.

3. Construct the circumscribed circle of pentagon 2.

4. Construct the circumscribed pentagon of circle 3, pointing up.

5. Draw the five rays of pentagon 4, from the center of circle 1 to the angular points.

6. Copy circle 1 to the top of pentagon 4, and move this circle (copy and delete original) to its own lower intersection with the vertical centerline.

7. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the intersections of the two lower rays 5 and circle 6.

8. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersection of circle 6 and the lower intersection of circle 7, both with the vertical centerline.

9. Construct a circle concentric to circle 8, tangent to circle 6 at the lower side.

10. Construct a circle centered at the lower intersection of circle 9 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 8 at the lower side.

11. Copy circle 10 two times, the first to its upper intersection with the vertical centerline, the second to the corresponding intersection of the first.

12. Construct three circles concentric to circle 8, tangent to circles 10 and 11 at the upper sides.

13. Copy circle 10 three times, the first to its lower intersection with the vertical centerline, the subsequent circles to the corresponding intersection of the previous copied circle, as shown.

14. Construct three circles concentric to circle 8, tangent to circles 13 at the lower sides.

15. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 8.

16. Copy circles 8, 9, 12 and 14 four times, to the intersections of circle 15 and the other rays 5, as shown.

17. Remove all parts from circles 8, 9, 12, 14 and 16 not visible within the formation itself.

18. Construct a "two-points" circle between the lower intersections of the two inner circles 14 with the vertical centerline.

19. Copy circle 18 to the top of pentagon 4.

20. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 19 at the upper side.

21. Copy innermost circle 12 to the center of circle 1.

22. Copy circle 10 to the lower intersection of circle 21 and the vertical centerline.

23. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 22 at the upper side.

24. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 22 at the lower side.

25. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 23 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 24 at the upper side.

26. Construct a "two-points" circle between the center of circle 18 and its upper intersection with the vertical centerline.

27. Construct a circle concentric to the upper circle 13, passing through the center of circle 26.

28. Copy circle 8 and the innermost circle 14 to the center of circle 1.

29. Draw the five rays of pentagon 2, from the center of circle 1 to the angular points.

30. Construct a "two-points" circle between the intersections of circles 28 and the upper righthand ray 29.

31. Copy circle 27 to the center of circle 30.

32. Construct a "two-points" circle between the intersections of circle 23 with the upper ray 5 and the upper righthand ray 29.

33. Construct a circle concentric to circle 32, tangent to circle 23 at the upper righthand side.

34. Copy circle 33, while mirroring it with respect to the vertical centerline.

35. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 18.

36. Copy circle 33 to the intersection of circle 35 and the upper righthand ray 29.

37. Copy circle 26 five times, to the centers of circles 25, 31, 33, 34 and 36.

38. Copy circles 25, 31, 33, 34, 36 and 37 as a whole four times, to the corresponding positions with respect to the other rays 5, while rotating about the center of circle 1, as shown.

39. Circles 20, 25, 31, 33, 34, 36 and 37, and patterns 17 and 38 make up the final reconstruction.
