Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | ||||

Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up. | ||||

Construct the inscribed circle of hexagon 2. | ||||

Draw the six rays of hexagon 2, from the center of circle 1 to the angular points. | ||||

Construct a circle centered at the intersection of the lefthand side of hexagon 2 and the horizontal centerline, passing through the intersection of circle 3 and the upper lefthand ray 4. | ||||

Construct a "two-points" circle, defined by the endpoints of a centerline (diameter), between the center of circle 5 and its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline. | ||||

Copy circle 6 to the center of circle 1. | ||||

Copy circle 6 to the lefthand intersection of circle 1 and the horizontal centerline. | ||||

Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 8 and the horizontal centerline, passing through the upper (and lower) lefthand angular point of hexagon 2. | ||||

Copy circle 9 to the intersection of circle 7 and the upper ray 4, and move it (copy and delete original) to its own intersection with the opposite ray 4. | ||||

Repeat step 10 another five times, with respect to the five other rays 4. | ||||

Copy circle 5 three times, to the upper lefthand and righthand and the lower angular points of hexagon 2. | ||||
