Reconstruction of the
Westwoods (2) 24-06-2007 formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the circumscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Copy circle 1 to the intersection of the righthand side of triangle 2 and the horizontal centerline.

4. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 3 at the righthand side.

5. Copy circle 1 two times, to both intersections of circle 4 and the horizontal centerline.

6. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 1 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 3 at the upper lefthand side.

7. Copy circle 6 two times, to the outer intersections of circles 5 and the horizontal centerline, as shown.

8. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the end-points of a centerline), defined by the upper intersection of circle 4, and the lower intersection of circle 6, both with the vertical centerline.

9. Construct a circle concentric to circle 8, tangent to circle 1 at the upper side.

10. Copy circle 9 two times, to the outer intersections of circles 7 and the horizontal centerline, as shown.

11. Circles 4, 5, 7 and 10 are used for the final reconstruction.

12. Remove everything not visible in the formation itself.
