Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | ||||

Construct the inscribed pentagon (regular 5-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up. | ||||

Construct the inscribed circle of pentagon 2. | ||||

Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) with the points at the lefthand intersections of circles 1 and 3 with the horizontal centerline. | ||||

Copy circle 4 to the lefthand intersection of circle 3 and the horizontal centerline and move this circle (copy and delete original) to its own righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline, as shown. | ||||

Construct a circle centered at the intersection of the lower side of pentagon 2 and the vertical centerline, passing through the lower righthand angular point of this pentagon. | ||||

Copy circle 6 to the center of circle 1. | ||||

Construct a two-points circle through the lefthand intersection of circle 7 and the righthand intersection of circle 5, both with the horizontal centerline. See detail. | ||||
