Reconstruction of the Green Street 29-07-2007 formation | |||||
| 1. |
| Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | |||
| 2. |
| Construct a "two-points" circle, defined by the end-points of a centerline, with one point at the center of circle 1, the other at the upper intersection of circle 1 and the vertical centerline. | |||
| 3. |
| Create a hexagram (regular six-pointed star), by constructing two inscribed equilateral triangles of circle 2, one pointing up, one pointing down. | |||
| 4. |
| Construct a circle, passing through the intersections of the lefthand and righthand sides of triangles 3, and passing through the upper intersection of circle 2 and the vertical centerline, as shown. | |||
| 5. |
| Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up. | |||
| 6. |
| Construct a circle centered at the lower intersection of circle 4 and the vertical centerline, passing through the intersections of circle 4 and hexagon 5. | |||
| 7. |
| Draw two rays of hexagon 5, from the center of circle 1 to the lower lefthand and righthand angular points. | |||
| 8. |
| Copy circle 6 two times, to its intersections with rays 7. | |||
| 9. |
| Construct a "two-points" circle, with one point at the center of circle 1, the other at the upper intersection of circle 6 and the vertical centerline. | |||
| 10. |
| Create a hexagram, by constructing two inscribed equilateral triangles of circle 9, one pointing up, one pointing down. | |||
| 11. |
| Construct a circle, passing through the intersections of the lefthand and righthand sides of triangles 10, and passing through the upper intersection of circle 9 and the vertical centerline. | |||
| 12. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 11, tangent to the upper side of triangle 10 pointing down. | |||
| 13. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 11 (and 12). | |||
| 14. |
| Copy circle 11 two times, to the intersections of circle 13 and rays 7. | |||
| 15. |
| Copy circle 12 two times, to the centers of circles 14. | |||
| 16. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 6, passing through the upper intersection of lefthand circle 8 and righthand circle 14. | |||
| 17. |
| Copy circle 16 two times, to the centers of circles 8. | |||
| 18. |
| Construct a "two-points" circle, with the points at the upper intersections of circles 12 and 16 with the vertical centerline. | |||
| 19. |
| Copy circle 18 to the center of circle 1. | |||
| 20. |
| Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 16 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 6 at the upper side. | |||
| 21. |
| Copy circle 20 to the upper intersection of circle 1 and the vertical centerline. | |||
| 22. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 21 at the lower side. | |||
| 23. |
| Only circles 1, 6, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19 and 22 are used for the final reconstruction. | |||
