Reconstruction of the Marden (2) 20-08-2005 formation | |||||
| 1. |
| Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | |||
| 2. |
| Construct the inscribed 18-sided regular polygon of circle 1, pointing to the right. | |||
| 3. |
| Construct a circle centered at the rightmost angular point of polygon 2, passing through the fourth angular points (up and down) from this point, as shown. | |||
| 4. |
| Copy circle 3 seventeen times, to the other angular points of polygon 2. | |||
| 5. |
| Construct the circumscribed 18-sided regular polygon of circle 1, pointing to the right. | |||
| 6. |
| Construct the circumscribed circle of polygon 5. | |||
| 7. |
| Construct two circles centered at the intersections of circle 6 and the horizontal centerline, each passing through the center of the other (Vesica Pisces). | |||
| 8. |
| Circles 3, 4, 6 and 7 are enough for the final reconstruction. | |||
| 9. |
