| Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | |||

| Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing to the right. | |||
| 3. |
| Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 2. | |||
| 4. |
| Construct three circles, each centered at a different angular point of triangle 2, each passing through the intersections (tangent points) of circle 3 and adjacent sides of triangle 2. | |||
| 5. |
| Copy and mirror each circle 4, relative to the side of triangle 2 opposite to it. | |||
| 6. |
| Copy and mirror the two righthand circles 5, relative to the lefthand side of triangle 2. | |||

| Draw the connecting line between the centers of the two righthand circles 5. | |||
| 8. |
| Copy and mirror the two lefthand circles 4, relative to line 7. | |||

| Draw the connecting line between the centers of upper circles 4 and 5. | |||
