Reconstruction of the Telegraph Hill 1-06-2002 formation |
|||||
| 1. |
| Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines. | |||
| 2. |
| Construct the inscribed dodecagon (regular 12-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing to the right. | |||
| 3. |
| Copy circle 1 to the rightmost angular point of dodecagon 2 (the right end-point of the horizontal centerline). | |||
| 4. |
| Copy circle 1 another 11 times, to all other angular points of dodecagon 2. | |||
| 5. |
| Two circles 4 intersect each other just above the middle of the right half of the horizontal centerline. Construct a circle centered at this intersection, passing through the corresponding intersection just below the centerline, as shown. | |||
| 6. |
| Copy circle 5 five times to every other corresponding intersections of circles 4, as shown. | |||
| 7. |
| Construct a circle centered at the right intersection of the leftmost circle 6 and the horizontal centerline, passing through the near intersection of the same circle and the uppermost circle 4, see figure. | |||
| 8. |
| Copy circle 7 to the center of circle 1. | |||
| 9. |
| Circles 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 form the basis for the reconstruction. | |||
| 10. |
| Leave out all lines and curves not visible in the formation. High resolution dwf-file | |||
| 11. |
| Colour green all areas corresponding to flattened crop. This finishes the reconstruction of the Telegraph Hill 1-06-2002 formation. | |||
