Reconstruction of the
2001 Milk Hill (3) formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed heptagon (regular 7-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Draw the diagonals of heptagon 2, closest to the center.

4. Construct a circle centered at the upper end-point of the vertical centerline, passing through the shown angular points of heptagon 2 just below the horizontal centerline.

5. Repeat this for the other angular points of heptagon 2.

6. Clip off all parts of circles 4 and 5 outside circle 1.

7. Draw the seven rays of heptagon 2.

8. Draw two connecting lines, one between shown intersections of the two upper rays and sides of heptagon 2, the other between corresponding intersections shifted two rays to the right. Extend both lines until they meet.

9. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1 through the intersection of both lines 8.

10. Construct the inscribed heptagon of circle 9, pointing up.

11. Construct the inscribed circle of heptagon 10.

12. Draw the diagonals of heptagon 10 connecting angular points two apart.

13. Extend the lowest side of heptagon 2 in both directions up to two of the diagonals 12, as shown.

14. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1 through the intersections of line 13 and diagonals 12.

15. Circles 9, 11 and 14, heptagram 3, and arcs 6 together form the necessary parts for the reconstruction.

16. Removing all unused parts and making black areas corresponding to standing crop, finish the reconstruction of the 2001 Milk Hill (3) formation.
